“The Sirena Yachts 68 is an immensely practical semi-displacement cruiser,” Yachting previously wrote. “The hull is based on the Sirena 64, which debuted in 2017, and is an evolution that goes far beyond the extra few feet of length that have been added toward the stern.”

Allied Marine currently has a 2023 Sirena 68 called My Lady Y listed for just shy of $3 million. The Florida-based flybridge motoryacht features an optional four-stateroom layout and comfortable amenities inside and out.

Sirena 68
Whether you’re trying to get more sun on the flybridge or less sun on the foredeck, My Lady Y has the accommodations to fit. Note the sun shade and the sunroof. Courtesy Allied Marine

“The My Lady Y stands as the epitome of upgraded elegance in the market,” Allied Marine says. “Distinguished by its sleek design and unique ax bow shape, it outshines other boats in the 60- to 70-foot range.”

The foredeck offers two different lounge areas, the U-shaped settee and fixed table aft and the sun pad forward. If the sun is too harsh, there is a sun shade that can cover the entire space.

The cockpit is fully covered by the flybridge overhang so owners and their guests can enjoy a shaded alfresco dining experience at the fixed table and transom bench seat aft. Pull up a few chairs to fit as many as eight.

Sirena 68
My Lady Y features the aft dining layout, which sits directly across from the aft galley. Courtesy Allied Marine

The flybridge has two distinct sections, the forward portion that is covered by the hardtop and the aft, open-air section that has a two-stool bar as the divider amidships. Seating on the flybridge includes two U-shaped settees, one forward to port and one abaft the upper helm to starboard.

Sirena offers two different interior arrangements for the 68, with the variation being if the interior dining is forward to port, abaft the lower helm station, or to starboard and adjacent to the galley aft. My Lady Y has the aft dining configuration, making it a very entertainment-friendly motoryacht.

After a fun day on the water, owners and their guests can head belowdecks to enjoy one of four staterooms. Amidships, the full-beam master stateroom has a centerline berth, a desk space to port that sits beneath a hullside window that stretches nearly the length of the room, walk-in closet stowage and an en suite head. The forepeak VIP has a centerline berth, a desk area that sits beneath the built-in flat-screen TV and an en suite head. The optional starboard guest cabin has the bunk berth layout while the port guest cabin has side-by-side convertible single berths.

“The goal of the Sirena 68 hull design was to offer efficiency at speeds ranging from long-range cruising to planning,” Sirena Yachts says. “A slippery hull with minimal appendage drag gave the range numbers we were looking for, while optional power choices increase the top end.”

Twin low-hour (289) 1,000 hp Volvo D-13 diesels give My Lady Y a 26-knot top hop and a fast cruise of 16 knots. Cruising at 16 knots will give the 68-footer a range of 400 nautical miles. Slowing to 8.5 knots increases the maximum range to 1,150 nm.

Some other notable features on board My Lady Y include:

  • Seakeeper gyrstabilizer
  • Humphrey stabilizers
  • Bow and stern thrusters
  • Garmin Diamond package
  • Washer and dryer combo

Where is My Lady Y located? The yacht is currently lying in Aventura, Florida.

Espiritu is a fine example of a 54 [Daybridge]. It has been very well maintained, gently run and all services have been done on a regular schedule, including engines, generator, bottom cleaning, and detailing. This is a fantastic, uncommon opportunity to get into a very distinctive boat without the wait.”

The main deck layout for the Belize 54 maximizes every inch of space with the salon and galley sharing the space amidships. Serving and entertaining guests is made easy with Espiritu’s main deck galley aft layout. The 54-footer’s galley has an array of meal-prep appliances which include a stainless-steel sink, a Miele three-burner cooktop, a Miele combo microwave and convection oven, a Fisher & Paykel dishwasher, and two Vitrifrigo pull-out refrigerator and freezer drawers.

Outer Reef Yachts works closely with its owners to help them make insightful choices with their builds, studying every Outer Reef that came before and benefitting from the latest and greatest marine industry innovations. The builder currently has one of its Classic Series 720s for sale, a 2020 called Suertudo, listed at $3.45 million.

“The Outer Reef Classic Series is known for exceptional sea keeping abilities, excellent accommodation and volume, classic design, and beautiful custom interiors; this has allowed for the highest level of retention of value in the marketplace,” Outer Reef Yachts says. “The opportunity to purchase this 2020, 72-foot Outer Reef without a multiyear wait for a new delivery of a sistership at significantly higher pricing, and the only pre-owned 72 available worldwide, is truly unique and should be considered very strongly by knowledgeable purchasers who have done their diligence in studying the cruising market in this size range.”

Outer Reef 720
The foredeck’s lounge area is the perfect spot to catch a sunrise or sunset. Courtesy Outer Reef Yachts

For long-range, bluewater-capable cruisers like the 720 construction is a critical factor to consider during the buying process. Outer Reef utilizes a hand-laid FRP hull with PVC core sandwich construction above the waterline and solid laminate, commensurate for hull size, made in a female mold. Suertudo has a vinylester barrier lamination for osmosis protection with a gel-coated finish above the waterline and two coats of black antifouling paint over five coats of epoxy primer below the waterline.

According to Outer Reef, many of its upcoming builds in the 67-foot to 72-foot range will feature the twin 750 hp John Deere series engines thanks to their fuel efficiency and dependability. At 9 knots under load, owners can expect a 2,000-nautical-mile range; slowing to 8 knots increases its maximum range to 2,700 nautical miles.

“This significant range has allowed sisterships to travel to very remote destinations of more than 8,000 nautical miles with fewer stops for fuel,” Outer Reef says. “Also, unlike full displacement yachts of this length that are limited to 10-knot maximums, Seuertudo can maintain a speed of 14 knots at 80 percent engine load if required.”

Outer Reef 720
Need to catch the big game? The aft flat-screen TV services the cockpit and the salon. Courtesy Outer Reef Yachts

The transom bench seat and fixed dining table along with loose chairs offer alfresco dining for up to six in the cockpit. Maybe the most interesting feature on the main deck is the window separating the cockpit from the salon lowers and the flat-screen TV that pops out of the entertainment center cabinets can rotate for cockpit viewing.

The flybridge has two distinct sections with the hardtop-covered section forward and the open-air aft section. Aft, the space is set up for tender and PWC stowage while guests will find two L-shaped dinettes flanking the flybridge forward of the grill station, under the hardtop.

Salon has a warm and inviting atmosphere with satin-finished teak joinery throughout and an L-shaped settee to port with a second settee to starboard.

Forward, the maindeck galley sits amidships to port with an open layout, a granite-topped island, a 36-inch French door refrigerator/freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave, a wine cooler and an oven with a cooktop.

Regarding sleeping accommodations, owners and their guests will find three staterooms belowdecks and a crew cabin that can be used as a fourth guest cabin. The full-beam amidships master stateroom has a centerline king berth while the forepeak VIP has a centerline queen berth. The third guest cabin has over-under berths.

Some other notable features on board Suertudo include:

  • Bose entertainment system
  • Washer and dryer combo

Pershing Yachts and speed go hand in hand, and the builder’s 82 VHP—Very High Performance—model accentuates this trait even more. Phoenix Rising is a 2017 Pershing 82 VHP listed with Allied Marine for just shy of $3.8 million. The three-stateroom flybridge cruiser has an entertainment-friendly layout and a staggering 50-plus-knot top speed.

“This vessel is not only a powerhouse of speed but also an oasis of comfort and style. With an array of recent upgrades and meticulous care, it offers an extraordinary yachting experience,” says listing broker Allied Marine.

Designed and created by yacht designer Fulvio De Simoni in partnership with the Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department, the 82 VHP features a reworked interior and an upgraded powerplant.

A pair of 2,638 hp MTU 16V2000 M96L diesels coupled with Top Systems surface drives push Phoenix Rising to a 45-knot cruise speed and a top hop of better than 50 knots. The new engine warranties are good through October 2026 and the engines currently have just 70 hours on them.

The interior has a modern yet inviting ambiance, with dark and pale streaked oak accented with dark gray lacquered details. A J-shaped settee and ottoman offer lounge seating aft to starboard. Amidships, a three-stool bar backs up to the three-seat helm station forward to starboard. A desk is tucked between the bar and the wall.

The galley on the 82 VHFs resides belowdecks, forward of the engine room, and can be accessed via the portside stairs amidships. The galley has an array of appliances, including:

  • Four-burner ceramic glass cooktop
  • Dishwasher
  • Electric oven
  • Extractable faucet
  • Refrigerator unit side by side with fridge and freezer

Phoenix Rising has a number of outdoor entertainment spaces on board, each with a variety of social zones for owners and their guests to enjoy. The cockpit, for instance, is a multifunctional space. Aft against the transom is a sun pad. Forward, a table and two bench seats offer guests an outdoor dining space, however, the electric table can be lowered and the aft bench seat can unfold to create a second lounge pad in the cockpit.

If guests are in the mood to catch some midday rays after a morning swim, they can head to the foredeck where a three- to four-person sun pad sits forward of a U-shaped dinette. A Bimini top sun shade can be raised to cover the dinette.

Blink and you might miss the fact that this 82-footer has a flybridge. The low profile sport bridge has a centerline upper helm station forward that’s flanked by two chairs. The aft section has a two- to three-person sun pad, in case the first three weren’t enough.

Belowdecks, sleeping accommodations include three staterooms that sleep up to six people. It’s worth noting the three-stateroom layout means the 82-footer has a second lounge space belowdecks. Amidships, the master stateroom has an athwartship king berth and an en suite head. The forepeak VIP has a centerline queen berth and an en suite head while the final guest cabin has side-by-side single berths with access to the day head.

Some other notable features on board Phoenix Rising include:

  • Two 23 kW gensets
  • Williams 325 TJ tender
  • Yacht Master remote control
  • Starlink satellite system
  • GOST security system and cameras
  • FLIR infrared night vision camera
  • Bow thruster with joystick

With a 4,000-nautical-mile max range and a Bureau Veritas unrestricted navigation certificate, the Marlow 97E Agave has transatlantic potential. Courtesy HMY Yachts

When Marlow Yachts first introduced the 97E in 2011, it was the builder’s largest model at the time, with only the 100 Voyager surpassing it today. The 97-foot long-range cruiser was built using Marlow’s proprietary Full Stack Infusion lamination process and has a Bureau Veritas unrestricted navigation certificate. Agave is a 2011 Marlow 97 Explorer currently listed with HMY Yachts for $4.295 million.

Twin 1,800 hp Caterpillar C32B diesels allow Agave to sprint at 29 knots and cruise between 23 and 24 knots. Marlow says owners should expect a 950-nautical-mile range cruising at 25 knots, while slowing to 9 knots increase the 97E’s maximum range to 4,000 nautical miles. It’s worth noting the engines currently have 1,450 hours on them.

Agave has the command bridge layout which puts the master stateroom on deck and encloses the forward section of the flybridge, creating what the builder calls a sky bridge, moving the pilothouse and single helm station to the upper deck.

The cockpit on Agave is designed for outdoor entertainment, with a three-stool bar forward to starboard and an alfresco dining space aft with the transom bench seat and fixed table. Wide side decks, high bulwarks with hand rails and a Portuguese bridge forward make for safe passage to and from the foredeck. Speaking of the foredeck, two J-shaped settees flank the centerline forward while aft and up a few stairs guests will find a sun pad, making this the perfect spot to catch some midday rays after a morning swim.

Marlow 97E salon
The salon features sole-to-ceiling teak throughout and a teak and holly sole. Two facing sofas complete the lounge seating aft. Courtesy HMY Yachts

Guests will be greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere stepping into the salon thanks to teak and holly floors, sole-to-ceiling teak throughout, natural light from near waist-to-ceiling windows and accent lighting under the sofas and wrapping the ceiling above. Two facing sofas line the starboard and port walls, creating a comfortable conversation space. Forward, the recently redesigned and upgraded galley is amidships with features like custom Cambria Annica stone counter tops with recessed sinks. Galley appliances include:

  • Wolf oven
  • Bosch dishwasher
  • Wolf induction four-burner cooktop
  • GE Monogram microwave/convection oven
  • Sub-Zero stainless steel refrigerator/freezer drawers
  • Miele built-in cappuccino/espresso machine
  • Spice or glass rack storage over sink
  • Wine cooler
  • Stowage

The forward enclosed section of the sky bridge has the two-seat helm station forward to port with an L-shaped dinette abaft. The open-air aft section of the sky bridge has a sun shade that can cover the three-stool bar and hot tub amidships. The aft section of the deck is set up for tender stowage with the Aitex 2,200-pound davit.

Marlow 97E master stateroom

In addition to the on deck master suite mentioned previously, six staterooms reside belowdecks with Agave sleeping up to 14 people. The on deck master has an island king berth and an en suite head. Belowdecks and amidships is what Marlow calls the lower master, which is offset to port. The lower master also has a king berth and an en suite head. The forepeak VIP has an island queen berth, a 32-inch flat-screen TV and an en suite head. Two guest cabins are located abaft the VIP. Princess Yachts’ S60 is a family-size sport-bridge yacht with three staterooms, two heads and crew quarters. This 60-footer comes standard with twin 1,000 hp Caterpillar 12.9 diesels and has optional twin 1,200 hp MAN V-8 diesels. Depending on the power selection, the S60 reportedly has a 34- to 38-knot top hop.

Exterior spaces include two alfresco dining areas—one in the cockpit, and one on the bridge—as well as a sun pad and bench seating on the foredeck.

As of April 2024, there were 12 Princess S60s available, ranging from $1.75 million to $2.19 million.

From the Archive

“Workers infuse each S60’s hull and superstructure with vinylester resin before adding a carbon-fiber hardtop. Another aspect of the S60 that shows no signs of compromise is its lines, which blend a flybridge yacht’s spaciousness into the low-slung profile of an express cruiser. Curvaceous salon windows soften the yacht’s exterior appearance, while elongated hullside windows lengthen it. The result is a pleasing aesthetic  befitting of this stylish and sporty model.”
