For owners in the market for a low-hour, turnkey ready flybridge express cruiser that’s fit for owner-operators or a crewed-yacht experience, HMY Yacht Sales currently has Crimson, a 2023 Azimut 68 Fly, listed for $3.55 million. The 68-footer features a two-berth crew quarters and a four-stateroom, three-head layout that sleeps up to eight.

Crimson currently has just 45 hours on it and the staterooms have never been used. Something HMY Yachts says makes it, “A magnificent 2023 Azimut 68F, a genuine work of art that’s primed for instant handover. This Azimut 68F is a custom marvel adorned with numerous upgrades…”

The foredeck has accommodations for guests looking to catch some midday rays or enjoy sundowners at sunset. Courtesy HMY Yachts

Yachting previously reported that the 68 Fly has three main-deck layout variations, an enclosed, open or aft galley. Crimson features the galley-aft layout, a trait that accentuates this yacht’s ability to accommodate and entertain owners and their guests.

“Contemporary cut, open-space style and informal touch,” Azimut Yachts says about the aft-galley layout. “Suggesting a smooth connection between interior and exterior ambiences…”

Stepping into the main deck, interior guests will find an L-shaped dinette to starboard, adjacent to the galley. Azimut does a good job of keeping sightlines mostly uninterrupted with low profile hanging stowage in the galley. Other features include:

  • Miele induction cooktop
  • Miele oven
  • Miele dishwasher
  • Vitrifrigo ice maker
  • Full-size fridge and freezer
  • Storage throughout
  • White countertops
  • Stainless faucet fixture

Forward, lounging and conversation are encouraged with seating flanking the salon amidships. To port is a U-shaped settee and an ottoman while to starboard is a straight three-person sofa. An LG flat-screen TV sits behind the sofa.

Outdoor entertainment areas on board this Azimut 68 Fly are not in short supply. Take the foredeck, for example. Guests can enjoy sunbathing with a three-person sun pad forward, or cocktails at sunset on the bench seat aft.  In the cockpit, a U-shaped settee backs up to the transom with a fixed table and is shaded by the flybridge overhang above, offering alfresco dining for everyone on board. Pull up a few chairs to fit as many six to eight people.

The flybridge has three distinct social zones. Aft is a lounge area beyond the hard top, which means more sun than shade throughout the day. Amidships is an L-shaped dinette in case guests want an elevated alfresco dining experience. Forward, a second flybridge lounge pad sits to port directly across from the upper helm station.

The Sunreef 60 Power Catamaran has a superyacht-size beam of 35 feet, which translates to home-size living spaces on a 60-footer. HMY Yacht Sales currently has Nero, a 2022 Sunreef 60, listed with a $4.695 million price tag.

Nero is the most highly customized Sunreef 60 Power Catamaran that has launched to date,” HMY says. “No expense was spared by her owners in the development of her machinery spaces, galley, stateroom layouts and appointments, and absolute top of the line electronic equipment and tender choices.”

The upgraded, 1,000 kg hydraulic swim platform capable of stowing the Williams Dieseljet 445 tender with Yanmar 110 hp engines further reinforces this sentiment.

Twin 705 hp Cummins QSM 11 diesels give Nero a 15.5-knot top speed. On the flybridge, the helm station sits forward on the centerline with a three-person bench and a raked and tinted windshield which helps to greatly reduce glare. A U-shaped dinette, capable of seating eight with two chairs pulled up, sits abaft the helm station. A sunroof above the dinette helps guests keep an eye on the blue skies above while enjoying elevated alfresco dining.

Nero’s foredeck wastes no space with a lounge area built in between the yacht’s superstructure and the walkaround teak deck. The cockpit has alfresco dining for eight with the transom bench seat and chairs pulled up to the fixed table.

The main deck’s interior has a sofa and fixed table to port and the galley to starboard. The galley feature’s an oversized island in the center of the salon and a range of appliances, including:

  • Miele dishwasher
  • Bosch speed oven with microwave, convection and conventional oven capabilities
  • 55-inch Samsung television
  • Sonos surround sound
  • Two-door Liebherr refrigerator
  • Miele cooktop
  • Oversized sink
  • Stowage

The master stateroom has a king berth and an en suite shower. A queen-berth VIP is forward while two en suite guest staterooms can be accessed forward of the galley.

Phoenix, a 2021 Sanlorenzo SD112, accommodates 10 guests in five staterooms, plus six crew. This late-model superyacht has a 2,500-nautical-mile range and is asking $10.925 million.

This SD112 is powered by twin 1,600 hp Caterpillar C32 Acert diesel engines, which reportedly push Phoenix to a top speed of 18 knots. At 12 knots, the builder says range is around 2,500 nautical miles. Phoenix has never been chartered, but its new owners could help offset costs by putting it into charter.

A Jacuzzi tub/mini pool located on the skybridge offers a place for an evening dip. There are three areas aboard Phoenix where guests can enjoy an alfresco style environment, the dinette on the foredeck, the cockpit dinette and the sky lounge dinette. The foredeck is open, but can be shaded with a sun shade while the cockpit is shaded by the aft deck of the skylounge. The skylounge dinette is inside, but sliding glass doors can be opened and stacked, connecting guests with the outside. Set the mood with the 12 underwater LED lights and enjoy ocean breezes.
